Darius is going to be relied on quite a bit more next year for Rainier Beach for his senior year but I believe he will take advantage of the extra looks. He is super athletic as he can jump out of the gym despite being 6’3″. Wilcher plays patient with the ball in his hands, not rushing anything and allowing the game to come to him. He will make a difference on whatever college he gets the chance to hoop at.

Prev Rank: 95 (+24)rnWilcher is another guy who’s past flashes are becoming the norm. He’s a strong guard who exhibits excellent balance, can rise up into his jumper efficiently from the dribble, and rarely is rushed into a shot. It almost looks like he’s designed his game around that strength and balance, playing a lot off of two feet in the paint, and showing a controlled attack while still being able to pull away from defenders and create shooting windows. Wilcher is a pretty smart player too and I would watch him this winter as a guy who could really step up and bust out in his senior season.

. He is gone to graduation which will open up a lot of opportunities for Wilcher. His skill-set should be on full display next season as a player who could climb well up the ladder in the rankings.

Wilcher has already had some big moments for Rainier Beach, and although the backcourt for the squad in the Rainier Valley is deep as hell, he seems to be getting his fair share of looks. He’s a microwave guy, doesn’t struggle to get his shot but can be a little streaky when it comes to finishing the play. He appears quicker and stronger since even the summer and is starting to make those streaks go in his favor more and more.

, another transfer from Timberline make for a tough backcourt. Although they lost to Garfield, Rainier Beach has weapons. Gurske is a top-notch guard in the Metro league and state. Both of these two have stepped up and will look to lead their team to a strong finish and post-season success.
