Expert Analysis
Miles Masercola | Prep Hoops Scout
Greene has been one of North Carolina’s most dominant big men all season long and has helped lead Fike to the 5A State Championship game later this week. As a Junior this season, Greene is averaging 15.7 Points, 12.0 Rebounds, 1.1 Assists, and 5.3 Blocks per game while shooting 72% from the floor and 59% from the line. Greene is known throughout the state as one of the best old school bigs in NC but a big performance in the State Championship game, especially with a win can help vault Greene’s name into more recruiting discussions with a pivotal 17u summer on the horizon. Greene is showing more and more vertical pop in his game as he refines his body and that should come with more mobility and general confidence in his overall game. I fully expect Greene to do everything he can to impose his will in the interior in Fike’s 5A state championship game Vs Hunter Huss.

Greene checks in at 36th overall and the No. 4-ranked center prospect in NC’s 2027 rankings market corrections. At 6-foot-9, he’s finding his way as a rim protector and finisher around the rim with increased mobility and conditioning. He’s already been a force for Team CP3 on the grassroots scene. He’ll be a name on the EYBL stage that college programs should target. He’s an emerging big man to know out of Fike High.

Greene is a presence who continues to show his growth in the 2027 class. He produced 54 points (13.5 points per game) and was quite the paint protector for the Big Shots Eliite NC frontcourt. His ability to rack up rebounds, clean up the glass and finish around the rim is something to watch. He’s an underrecruited big man with DI potential in his game. As he continues to show off his improved conditioning and pace to the grassroots style, look for his name to grow in the 2027 class.

Not many teams in the state have a guy who matches the measurable of the 6’9 240 pound sophomore forward. Greene uses his size and strength well to carver out space and dominate opposing post players around the basket on both offense and defense. He’s averaging just under a double double with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and two blocks per game and the Fike HS Demons have won 15 games this regular season their largest win total since the 18-19 season.
