On a roster with significant other talent surrounding him, there aren’t always going to be a ton of shots for Adams but he’s always gotta be ready for whenever his number is called and that’s exactly what happened. In Team CP3 ‘s narrow victory over Team Final, Adams finished with 13 Points while connecting on 2-4 from deep and 7-8 from the line en route to the win. Adams presence within this group is incredibly valuable and to see him ready for a moment when they needed him deserved some recognition and shows that he’s a guy that is more than capable of playing at the next level.

If rankings were based off of simply winning games right now, Adams would be a lot higher on the list. This is a kid that contributes to winning in high level games despite his lack of size. Adams played mostly off the ball this season at Forsyth Country Day so as he gets more reps as a full time PG next season, his ranking should go up. With all of that said, Adams would’ve probably led the state in charges taken if the stat was properly tracked. He also has a knack for making incredibly timely shots in crucial situations. Adams maintains poise with the ball in his hands and is more than willing to put his body on the line to make a play defensively. You could make the case that Adams greatest ability is how good he is at bridging the gap between the coaching staff and the rest of the roster. Expect Adams to continue to grow his game and maintain his level of impact over the course of the spring and summer while gearing up to defend Forsyth Country Day’s state championship next season.

Adams is the kind of kid that helps you win big games with his ability to impact winning by embracing the little things on the floor. Adams does as good a job as anyone in the State of North Carolina at taking charges bringing a ton of value as he swings possessions with that multiple times a game. Adams is a great connector at both ends of the floor and does a great job bridging the gap between the rest of the roster and the coaching staff. Adams can get hot from the outside with his jumper along with being a more than capable secondary creator alongside Q Williams for this Forsyth Country Day team that is loaded with next level talent. Adams might get overlooked for his size, but his impact on big games vs high level competition is undeniable and he’ll start to earn more recognition for it from all around the state.
