Nike had two sessions for EYBL play during the month of may and Moore suited up for [program_tooltip program_id='2220892' first='Team' last='United'] 17u in the first of those in Memphis before making the move to Team Thad 17u for the session the next week. [program_tooltip program_id='2220892' first='Team' last='United'] struggled a little bit in Memphis, going 1-3 on the session with Moore averaging 9.0 Points, 3.5 Rebounds, 2.0 Assists, and 1.3 Steals per game on 35/26/50 shooting splits. He then made the move to Team Thad where his production and efficiency skyrocketed as he averaged 14.5 Points, 6.3 Rebounds, 1.3 Assists, 0.8 Steals, and 0.5 Blocks per game on 46/44 shooting splits. Thad did fall to a 1-3 record in the session but Moore's blend of shot making and rebounding was on full display as he's a complete weapon on the offensive end at his size. It was an eventful month for Moore but he was able to settle in with the new group and play his game at a high level.

Adams is the ultimate secret weapon on this [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'] 17u group as a guy that can help swing possessions with his effort defensively and swing games if he can heat up from the outside. On a roster with significant other talent surrounding him, there aren't always going to be a ton of shots for Adams but he's always gotta be ready for whenever his number is called and that's exactly what happened. In [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3']'s narrow victory over Team Final, Adams finished with 13 Points while connecting on 2-4 from deep and 7-8 from the line en route to the win. Adams presence within this group is incredibly valuable and to see him ready for a moment when they needed him deserved some recognition and shows that he's a guy that is more than capable of playing at the next level.

Moving to another Forsyth Country Day and [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'] EYBL 17u guy in [player_tooltip player_id='2896673' first='Jayon' last='Connor'], he has been supremely effective for this team as a physical forward who can finish on the interior and do a lot of dirty work at both ends of the floor. In what was a 7-1 stretch for [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'] in May, Connor averaged 16.5 Points, 9.3 Rebounds, 1.1 Assists, 1.5 Steals, and 1.8 Blocks per game while shooting 56% from the floor and 56% from the line. Connor is constantly playing with a ton of physicality, making him difficult to deal with for the opposition at both ends of the floor. He's not much of a perimeter shooter but that hasn't deterred him yet as he's just able to get where he wants on the floor and finish with efficiency. He gets to the line a ton and shot it way better from there than he did in the first session. Look for Connor to continue establishing himself as a bonafide division one talent on this stacked roster.

After the live period, [player_tooltip player_id='2299468' first='Geren' last='Holmes'] made the decision to change teams and make the move over to Team Thad EYBL 17u for the EYBL session in Kansas City. During that session, Thad went 1-3 but Holmes proved to be a valuable addition to the roster. For the session, he averaged 13.5 Points, 1.0 Rebounds, 0.8 Assists, and 0.8 Blocks per game on 56/30/60 shooting splits. Holmes proved that no matter the circuit, his ability to score and make shots will translate, especially in his 22 Point performance in a close loss to Nightrydas Elite. Holmes still has some untapped ability in the game beyond scoring the basketball and if he can find a way to tap into that with consistency, he'll be able to reach his full upside. For now he's still able to score at a very high level no matter the situation he's in and it will be fun to track to see where he ends up taking this run with Team Thad.

It's hard not to have a high level of appreciation for what [player_tooltip player_id='1571119' first='King' last='Kendrick'] brings to the table for this [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'] EYBL 17u group as he helped guide them to a 7-1 record in EYBL play in the month of May. Over the last two sessions, Kendrick averaged 10.3 Points, 4.0 Rebounds, 4.9 Assists, 0.8 Steals, and 0.6 Blocks per game on 37/29/74 shooting splits. For Kendrick, these efficiency numbers could use some improvement but that doesn't tell the whole story. Kendrick can completely control the flow of a game with his ability to change speeds, score from multiple levels, and turn defense into offense with the blink of an eye. Kendrick is truly elite in transition and his speed is ultimately his signature skill. Look for Kendrick to continue to guide CP3 on a magical season as they have a Peach Jam or bust mindset with the talented roster they've assembled.
