Tre Cordon | Prep Hoops Scout
Although he finished third on his team in scoring with 15 points Blanchard looks to be in the closer role. Every time the opposing team went on a run he hit a big shot or hit one of his fellow teammates for an easy bucket. He’s gotta better with his decision making and is one of the better guards when scoring with the ball in his hands.

After a solid season at Fike High School, he has decided to run with BSM on the Puma circuit. During this past year, he was asked to play off ball and score more than he did as a freshman when he was his team’s point guard, but I expect him to go back to lead guard responsibilities this upcoming grassroots season. With his roster looking solid and being on a circuit this team around don’t be surprised to hear his name this grassroots season.

Blanchard is a key piece in the Fike backcourt already as a new addition. He’s put up 13.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.2 steals per contest through their first five games already as they’re 4-1. He’s knocked 12 3-pointers from deep already and remains a prospect with good potential in the 2027 class as a DI/DII target.

Blanchard is another guard prospect in the 2027 class who moves into the Top 25 as 22nd in the latest rankings update. He’s a combo guard who’s capable of getting hot from deep in a hurry and can already finish with authority around the rim. As he finds his identity defensively, look for his recruitment to grow as a DI/DII prospect in the state of North Carolina.

Blanchard checks in at No. 35 in the 2027 rankings debut out of Beddingfield. He finished second on the varsity squad this season in scoring with 10.4 PPG while showcasing his ability to make plays, rebound the ball and defend on the opposite end. He’s a 6-foot combo guard who plays with a ton of energy when he’s on the floor which doesn’t go unnoticed. He’ll be one of a few names in the class to catch with Team Trezz on the grassroots stage this spring/summer.

Blanchard has become an important piece for Beddingfield so far this season, averaging 11.4 PPG as a combo guard within their offense. They’re 10-4 so far in a resurgent season, and he’s part of their young talent influx. He’s very smooth with the ball, showing he’s not afraid of pressing defenses and breaking them with ease. Solid shooter that knocks down the open one and is good making shots off the catch. Looks like he can be a defensively oriented talent too with his scrappiness and determination.
