. is the kind of senior guard who just gets it. He’s super adaptable, seamlessly fitting into whatever lineup the coach throws at him. He has a knack for getting into the paint and dishing out assists to his elite teammates, always looking for that perfect shot. He plays with this joy within the offense.

McLavish Jr. is an electric shooter and scorer, always has been. I like the development he showed in his game this season as a distributor and floor leader.

I’ve seen McLavish flat out win games with his jumper. Grand Blanc presents a tough task, but McLavish can be up to the task. He’s done a great job in expanding his game beyond the jumper and become a solid lead guard. McLavish and

McLavish Jr. should be a household name among high school basketball fans in the state of Michigan. He stormed onto the scene as a freshman with his highliught reel shooting ability. McLavish Jr. has in the gym range where seeing him bury a triple from the volleyball line becomes the norm. If you saw him his freshman season, guess what? He’s gotten even better. MLavish put his game on display on the Prep Hoops Circuit and he was much more than just a shooter. He showed the ability to create off the bounce as well as get his teammates involved.

So it’s very obvious that I’m thankful for the opportunity to watch him shoot the rock. But that’s not it by any stretch. I love seeing and hearing about the work that McLavish is putting in the improve all aspects of his game. I look forward to seeing him on the PH Circuit again and at the Top 250 next year.

McLavish is a flat out game changer with his jumper. He can hit a three pointer from anywhere in the building. Quite honestly, he’s probably one of the elite shooters in not just Michigan, but in the midwest. When McLavish is feeling his shot, it’s pretty much game over.

We all know that McLavish can shoot with the best of them in the state. But his game is much more. His ball handling stood out as well in Grand Rapids. McLavish was able to push the pace with the dribble and proved to be very fast with the ball in his hands.
