One of the better forwards that I got a chance to watch at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase was Cach Clegg out of St. Xavier HS. Clegg is a 6’4″ forward who is naturally strong, and he already uses that to his advantage. He was one of the better offensive rebounders I watched throughout the day and was easily the best post defender for Team 7. I really like his size and the tools he already has around the basket on both ends.

One of the few out-of-state prospects that attended our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase, Clegg is no stranger to the state having played with Indiana Elite in the summer. The 6’4″ forward has impressive physical tools and moves well for his size. He was consistently effective driving it from the perimeter and using his strength to finish in the paint. We also saw Clegg stretch the floor some as a catch-and-shoot threat. He is definitely a name to remember at St. Xavier High School.
