Expert Analysis
Devin Ugland | Prep Hoops Scout
Butler’s immediate fit at Sierra Canyon is as a long, athletic and versatile defensive prospect who will thrive in the Trailblazers uptempo pressure style of defense. His combination of size, length and mobility will help with rim protection and defensive rebounding to jumpstart Sierra Canyon’s fast-paced offensive attack. Butler will be a lob threat, screen roll target and face-up perimeter shooter to help space the floor offensively. Butler spent his first three high school seasons at Eastvale Roosevelt.
