It doesn't matter which year it is or which class it is, each offseason in high school basketball brings a ton of transfer movement. His combination of size, length and mobility will help with rim protection and defensive rebounding to jumpstart Sierra Canyon's fast-paced offensive attack. Butler will be a lob threat, screen roll target and face-up perimeter shooter to help space the floor offensively. Butler spent his first three high school seasons at Eastvale Roosevelt.

Conerly heads to the Bellflower-based private school after a successful stint at Inglewood and his blend of size, athletic tools and perimeter skill-set will be crucial for the Braves to keep pace in the always-competitive Trinity League. The 6-foot-6 wing has a solid offensive toolbox with his driving, slashing and above-the-rim finishing being his most effective offensive skill. Look for Conerly's all-around game to take a big leap this season.

Crean Lutheran picked up a much-needed veteran guard presence in Bryson whose strength, physicality and downhill aggressiveness will give the Saints a primary scoring option in transition offense. Bryson is a bully-ball type of guard who is tough to keep out of the lane and away from the basket where he thrives as an at-rim finisher through contact. Bryson was at JSerra prior to his arrival at Crean.

Berg started his high school career at Mater Dei before spending a season at Legacy Christian and the 6-foot-10 center is back in Santa Ana for his senior year. Berg is an extremely active, mobile and high motor big man with solid dexterity, the ability to rim run and finish and provides a defense and rebounding presence inside that the Monarchs will need to compete at the highest level as they are used to.

Caplan is one of the region's most prolific perimeter scorers with his consistency as an off-catch and off-bounce shooter from three-point and mid-range levels of the floor. The 6-foot-3 combo guard leaves the CIF Southern Section (Crean Lutheran) for California-based prep program Southern California Academy where he will see more of a national-type schedule. Caplan's stock rose over the summer playing with California Gold's 3SSB program and has fielded numerous Division 1 offers.

Cunningham will team up with Caplan at Southern California Academy after helping lead Palisades to a City Section Open Division championship last season. The 6-foot-10 center is a skilled back-to-the-basket scorer with soft hands and good touch on his right-hand jump hook. Cunningham showed some flashes of improved face-up shooting touch during the summer with Gamepoint's 3SSB team.

Rachal was one of the biggest breakout players of the spring and summer playing on the Puma circuit with Team CPSA. The 6-foot-7 wing/forward adds an elite slashing and finishing threat to the Notre Dame offense with his explosive quick-twitch athleticism standing out as his most impactful trait. Rachal showed plenty of flashes of perimeter offensive ability, as well, with a clean catch-and-shoot three-point shot. Rachal was previously at Los Angeles-based DNA Prep.

Anderson's move from Olympian to reigning San Diego Section Open Division champion Victory Christian was one of the biggest moves in the southern-most region in the state. The 5-foot-7 point guard is as dynamic as they come with the ball in his hands with his combination of downhill speed and shiftiness leading to consistent paint touches where he can score with craftiness and touch. Anderson is also a player who can score in bunches from the perimeter with pull-up threes and mid-range jumpers.

More Transfers of Note: [player_tooltip player_id='2375392' first='Kaiden' last='Wilson'] (Redondo Union to Iowa United Prep); Ean Britt (Campbell Hall to Coronado (NV); [player_tooltip player_id='2435385' first='TJ' last='Wansa'] (Cleveland to La Mirada): [player_tooltip player_id='2815175' first='Dominic' last='Loehle'] (Heritage Christian to Loyola); [player_tooltip player_id='3638729' first='Beau' last='Prophete'] (Oak Park to Calabasas).

It doesn't matter which year it is or which class it is, each offseason in high school basketball brings a ton of transfer movement. This spring and summer was no different as we saw familiar faces in new places all throughout the June live scholastic period. Below we break down some of the class of 2027 transfers who will make a major impact for their new teams and left a hole to be filled at their previous program.
