The 6-foot-3 combo guard leaves the CIF Southern Section (Crean Lutheran) for California-based prep program Southern California Academy where he will see more of a national-type schedule. Caplan’s stock rose over the summer playing with California Gold’s 3SSB program and has fielded numerous Division 1 offers.
