In the grand scheme of state recruiting, Bell is on the “under-the-radar” list but is emerging as one of the most valuable players to his team’s success. The 6-foot-3 senior doesn’t have the prototypical position size, speed and explosive athleticism as some others in the class but he simply knows how to play. Bell finished with 15 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in a big win over Millikan and will be the go-to guy for Mira Costa this season.
