Taylor is one of the many downhill playmaking guards for a deep All Wisconsin backcourt. Cam was exceptional at creating going to the basket and finishing at the rim in his late morning game on Friday morning. The guard from New London, is very strong and can use his physicality to finish efficiently off of two feet and power through contact. Taylor has improved in his ability to see the floor as he dishes the ball well to open teammates in the dunker and opposite corner for easy buckets. As New London replaces the scoring of four year starter and UWSP commit Joe Daly, Taylor is a good candidate to help fill the scoring gaps with his versatile skill set.
Already a two-year varsity performer at New London, Taylor handled the ball well and dribbled to spots that benefited his teammates. A good passer who can score through contact due to his physical strengths, Taylor scored nine points for All-Wisconsin. He provided backcourt ball-handling relief at times for Silas CohenSilasCohen

, and proved he was more than up to the challenge of faring well against Team Herro
‘s pressure defense. Defensively, Taylor can guard well on the perimeter by using his size and strength to keep opposing players out of the lane.
Taylor ran the show for a solid Wisconsin PHD
team. He was a calming presence at the lead guard position. The six foot one guard has good size to him and used it well creating mismatches. He worked his way into his spots. Most impressive was his ability to make reads in the pick and roll. Taylor hit the roller and made on time skip passes to get his teammates high quality looks at the rim.
