Bryson may not have the flashiest game or put up eye catching numbers, but he’s a big reason why All Wisconsin have been winning big games lately. At 6’6 he’s going to hold his ground on the block, and does a great job of walling up to pick up blocks or alter shots without fouling. Against a talented Team Herro
frontcourt, as well as a Big 3 Basketball
team that featured some physical bigs, Bryson was cleaning up on the glass and finished his chances around the basket with efficiency.
Another under-the-radar performer for All-Wisconsin, Vogt played at the JV1 level for Winnebago Lutheran last winter. But he used his size, strength and finishing ability around the hoop to score four baskets and snare a handful of rebounds while playing against the high-level frontline prospects from Team Herro
. Vogt ran the floor very well, playing within his role and battled for every rebound to give his team solid production on both ends of the court.
Vogt controlled the interior for Wisconsin Blaze
with relentless energy on the glass. He extended possessions with offensive rebounds and finished strong around the rim, particularly from the dunker spot where he found soft spots in the defense. With a great feel for using the glass and physical post positioning, Vogt consistently delivered high-efficiency scoring opportunities.
Bryson was an effective low-post presence for Team 6. He utilized his 6’2-6’3 frame to control the glass on both ends of the floor, pulling in rebounds in bulk. One thing that really stood out was his ability to find an outlet pass up the floor to help kickstart transition opportunities for his team.
Vogt ran with the Wisconsin Blaze
this summer and will attend Winnebago Lutheran Academy. At the Freshman Showcase he did most of his damage in the paint. I was impressed with his ability to attack closeouts and make quick decisions with team 6. He had surprising footwork for his size and build.
