About Brayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Fast, intense, and physical. My style is to contribute as much and whatever it takes to win. I’m on the floor to have as much impact as possible.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try my best to be the best teammate and hypeman that I can be. Always bringing the energy!!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m one of the leaders of our leadership council for football. I was our starting QB for varsity this year as a sophomore. I’m also in our school athletic council with a few committed athletes from all the sports. I train close to 350 days a year sometimes multiple times a day so that about all I can fit in.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have certainly became so much more coach able since starting high school. As a freshman on varsity last year my coached planned to coach me in a preparation for college style of coaching. I believe I have also made great strides in my leadership on and off the court. As a quarterback of our football and basketball team my communication skills have been consistently improving.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

It could be way worse and I have been very fortunate but the adversity you face as an underclassmen trying to lead your team and town comes with much weight. Everything happens for a reason and every instance has only made me stronger.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to stay local. Uwm Milwaukee or Madison and Marquette are on the top of me list. I feel like this weighs heavy on my measurables. It’s my dream to stay local so that my support system can still be there to watch me play.

Coming back off of a sophomore season, cut short by injury, Brayden looks to build off of his strong freshman campaign with a solid showing at The Expo. One of the stronger finishers, down low, he did a great job of finishing through contact and drawing fouls. In the post he showed good footwork in one instance finishing with a nifty up and under move. He also showed off his range by knocking down a couple of three-pointers, in the game I watched, and was also solid on the boards.
