Norris first caught our attention midway through last season, and everything he’s shown this summer points to a player continuing to rise fast. He plays with a fearless mentality and never looks intimidated by the moment or the matchup. Defenders are constantly put in difficult spots because if they crowd him, he’s explosive enough to get by them and attack the rim. If they give him space, his quick release makes them pay from deep. What stands out just as much is the energy he brings on the defensive end. He competes every possession, stays active with his hands and pressures opponents into rushed decisions, turnovers and tough shots. The confidence, toughness and versatility in his game are all trending upward, and Norris is looking more and more like a player ready to make a serious impact moving forward

Norris delivered another strong scoring performance, showing the full package offensively. He knocked down shots from deep with confidence and displayed impressive range that stretched the defense. When defenders closed out, he attacked inside aggressively and finished through traffic. One of the most impactful parts of his game was on the glass, where he created extra possessions with multiple offensive rebounds. Norris stayed active all game and consistently found ways to put points on the board

Norris is not a player I was too familiar with heading into the weekend, but with how he played, his game was undeniable. He’s a big-time scorer that Pluto Prospects put the ball in his hands and let him operate. He had a game where he exploded for 40+ points, he was the team’s go-to scorer in every game, he looked unstoppable at times, and he’s looking to attack. Norris also rebounds well and can start the break and go for coast-to-coast finishes, and we saw plenty of that. The game slows down for him, and you can tell that he has played real varsity minutes as he gets to his spots. He was hitting the 3-ball, scoring with ease in isolation, and finishing with either hand inside. Where I feel the game translates best is with his passing/playmaking, and also just getting a ton of steals from being at the right spot. He picked up 5+ steals in every game on the weekend and is a player who certainly will be jumping in our next rankings update. He’s a solid prospect.
