Zamundu was a player we got plenty of looks at throughout the summer, and each viewing gave us more confidence in his trajectory. His growth was evident, particularly in the way he handled the point guard position with poise and consistency. He played a steady brand of basketball while remaining confident in his ability to make plays and his scoring versatility stood out. Zamundu showed he can create offense from all over the court, making him difficult to keep out of rhythm. With his continued development and strong summer showing, we believe he has earned a rise in the rankings and are excited to see what comes next

Zamundu was one of PLUTO’s most consistent standouts throughout the summer and proved why he’s a point guard to keep an eye on. He possesses excellent quickness and a burst that allows him to break down defenders, while his court vision and decision making keep the offense running smoothly. A true facilitator, he creates opportunities for teammates but can also score when needed. Zamundu is quickly becoming one of the more exciting young guards to watch because of the energy and playmaking ability he brings with the ball in his hands. After seeing limited varsity action at St. Mary’s, he has used the summer to show just how high his upside can be. Zamundu plays fearless, constantly attacking defenders and putting pressure on the defense every trip down the floor. He does a great job navigating through traffic, getting to the rim and finishing tough plays in the paint. What also stands out is his ability to create for others, finding open shooters and keeping teammates involved. His quickness, confidence and aggressive style make him an electric point guard whose stock continues to rise

Zamundu controlled the game with the poise and skill you want from a point guard. His vision stood out all game, finding teammates in stride and creating quality scoring chances. When defenses backed off, he made them pay with his shot from the perimeter. Zamundu’s speed was another major factor, pushing the pace in transition and keeping defenders on their heels.
