Sophomores Climbing Up The Rankings In 2029 Update

The latest rankings update has plenty of movement, and these are some of the prospects who have given us reasons to believe their stock is trending upward. From confident guards making plays and attacking downhill to physical frontcourt pieces imposing themselves inside, this group showed growth and upside throughout the summer. Their performances gave us new reasons to be excited about what is ahead. With the upcoming season providing another opportunity to prove themselves, we expect each of these players to continue pushing their way up the rankings.    Beecraft gave us plenty to be excited about after getting our first extended look at him at the showcase. The athleticism immediately stood out, but it was his ability to combine that physical talent with a strong presence inside that really caught our attention. He played with confidence around the basket, showed he can score through contact and consistently looked like someone capable of impacting the game on both ends. With more opportunities to see his game develop, we expect Beecraft to continue climbing the rankings. We are especially excited to see how his athleticism, physicality and scoring ability translate throughout the upcoming season     Zamundu was a player we got plenty of looks at throughout the summer, and each viewing gave us more confidence in his trajectory. His growth was evident, particularly in the way he handled the point guard position with poise and consistency. He played a steady brand of basketball while remaining confident in his ability to make plays and his scoring versatility stood out. Zamundu showed he can create offense from all over the court, making him difficult to keep out of rhythm. With his continued development and strong summer showing, we believe he has earned a rise in the rankings and are excited to see what comes next     Haslage made a strong impression at the showcase, giving us another reason to believe his stock is headed in the right direction. He played with a noticeable lack of hesitation, attacking opportunities as soon as they opened and putting pressure on the defense throughout his minutes. His ability to get downhill was especially impressive, as he consistently looked to turn the corner, create advantages and make something happen. There was an aggressive confidence to his game that stood out, and that mindset gives him a strong foundation moving forward. After this showing we are excited to see Haslage carry that approach into the upcoming season     Stilson really caught our attention with the aggressiveness and edge he brought to the showcase. He played with a competitive mentality that consistently gave him an advantage, attacking opportunities with purpose and refusing to play passively. His burst and quickness stood out, allowing him to create separation and put pressure on defenders, while his ability to make big plays made his impact easy to notice. We came away extremely impressed with what Stilson showed and believe he has a significant opportunity ahead of him. If he continues on this trajectory, we could see him making a strong impact at the varsity level this season     Mosley really stood out at the showcase with his ability to make plays and lead from the guard position. He played with confidence, showed a strong feel for the game and consistently looked comfortable making decisions with the ball in his hands. His leadership was another piece that separated him, as he communicated and helped keep those around him engaged. We believe there is still another level to Mosley's game, which makes his trajectory especially intriguing. After what we saw at the showcase, we are expecting continued growth from him and believe he has a legitimate opportunity to keep climbing as he heads into the upcoming season     Klein stood out to us throughout the summer, and his size and physicality made him difficult to overlook. He showed a willingness to embrace the physical side of the game, consistently working with his back to the basket and making his presence felt around the paint. His relentless approach down low gave him opportunities to impact possessions and showed the foundation of a productive interior game. We believe Klein has plenty of room to continue developing, and his trajectory is certainly one we will be watching closely. His continued rise should not be taken lightly if he consistently continues to compete, finish and impose his physicality in the paint
