Stilson really caught our attention with the aggressiveness and edge he brought to the showcase. He played with a competitive mentality that consistently gave him an advantage, attacking opportunities with purpose and refusing to play passively. His burst and quickness stood out, allowing him to create separation and put pressure on defenders, while his ability to make big plays made his impact easy to notice. We came away extremely impressed with what Stilson showed and believe he has a significant opportunity ahead of him. If he continues on this trajectory, we could see him making a strong impact at the varsity level this season

Stilson was flat-out better than I expected, and that’s exactly why he belongs in this category of coming to prove a point. He played with some edge and had a back-and-forth at one point with the other team, wanted the basketball, and became increasingly aggressive once he realized he could get where he wanted. Stilson beat defenders off the bounce, finished a tough reverse that I thought had no chance, and started chirping after an and-1 finish. Smoky Hill desperately needs Stilson to be this version of himself, as he will certainly get plenty of varsity time as a sophomore. I liked what I saw from him.

Miles found ways to impact the game with his ability to do a little bit of everything. Defensively his length allowed him to get into passing lanes and guard multiple positions. Offensively, he showed he could knock down shots from the wing while providing whatever his team needed.
