Thompson was a playmaker in motion all weekend, showing off slick handles, sharp instincts and nonstop aggression. He used his dribble to create space and keep defenders guessing, then exploded into the lane when openings appeared. His cuts were timed perfectly, slipping into gaps for easy scoring chances and keeping the defense on edge. Once he got downhill, he attacked hard with confidence and purpose, putting pressure on the rim every trip. What tied it all together was his vision, spotting teammates and delivering smart passes when help defenders collapsed. Thompson’s blend of skill, speed and feel made him a constant problem
