could be a humongous difference maker in this key matchup against Lewis-Palmer, stringing together nearly 10 PPG, 6.2 RPG, and 1.1 BPG in the regular season. Where Frison thrives is attacking the glass and rebounding at will. In one of his most recent matchups against The Classical Academy, he dropped a productive 18 points on 50% shooting from the field. If he can utilize that same momentum leading into his sweet 16 matchup, Pueblo South should be in good shape.
Frison finds his way into the rankings because he brings a complete two way presence to the court. His size and wingspan allow him to impact the game in multiple ways, whether it’s scoring from deep, finishing around the rim, and disrupting opponents defensively. He stretches the floor with his consistent three-point shot, forcing defenses to stay honest, while on the other end, he locks in on his assignments, switches seamlessly, and uses his length to contest shots, grab rebounds, and block attempts. His versatility, combined with his ability to contribute on both ends, makes him one of the most valuable and well-rounded players on the floor
Frison is a player that can get his name out there if he heads out to the event and has a solid day defensively. He’s a solid defender who has the ability to defend all five positions. He defends bigger players, he steps out on guards and makes things difficult. He’s a splash off the bench and can impact the game on that end of the floor. Offensively, he knocks down the 3-ball and gets to the basket and if he’s able to prove that he can be a consistent 3&D player for Pueblo South, that will be a team to watch. We want defenders to come to the event and make their mark and that’s his calling.
Frison found success as a floor spacer and secondary shotmaker, working to improve his halfcourt decision making. As the game continues to slow down for him, he looks to be a well rounded offensive option, capable within different roles.
Frison was ready off the catch, whether to take a perimeter shot attempt or to quickly swing it along the perimeter. Repeatedly making quick reads against the opposing defense, Frison was deliberate with his decision making process in the halfcourt. As well a capable shotmaker off the catch, his floor spacing added value for this Team 6 group.
