About Baiden
Expert Analysis

Baiden showed out in the win over Jefferson. The 6’1” guard was connecting with tough shots all game and did a fantastic job steering the ship for the Farmington offense. He hit a turnaround fadeaway, along with a step back mid-range, leaving the defense with no answer. He finished the game with a team-high 17 points, knocking down a pair of three-pointers as well. Bean is one of the most underrated players in the state and has continued to impress me with each time I have seen him play with his ball handling and scoring abilities. I believe that he could be an effective player in NSIC or MIAC conferences.

is a 2023 guard from the deeper and deeper looking high school program Farmington and played AAU with Wearing Out the Nets. Bean is a six-foot-one-inch point guard who may have gotten lost in the solid roster of his AAU team where everyone was able to shine. At the Expo Bean came out firing scoring 11 of the first 14 points for Team 10 and assisted on the other 3 points. Leaving Bean open will be a disaster for opponents as he’ll make you pay from beyond the arc with is his smooth shot. Running him off the 3-point is bothersome for opponents as well as he has good vision and isn’t selfish as he shares the ball plenty.

Baiden has impressed me every time I’ve seen him play since the spring and that continued this weekend. He is extremely unpredictable when he has the ball in his possession and is constantly leaving defenders guessing. He is very quick and specialized in transition this Saturday, where he could take it himself all the way to the rim or dish it off to a teammate for an easy look. The senior guard also knocked down some shots from the outside off the dribble, as well as in the catch-and-shoot. Bean will lead a Farmington team this season that has great potential.

Baiden turned in an impressive performance on Sunday in a tightly fought game with Minnetonka. He was very effective creating shots not only for himself, but also for his teammates as he made some tough passes through traffic. He was also knocking down mid-range jumpers when getting to his spots, making everything he does on the floor look fluid and calculated. He has silky smooth shot mechanics that he used to connect with several three-pointers. Bean will be the leader for a Farmington group that lost four out of their five leading scorers from last season.
