Yunker’s floor spacing will be sorely needed with Palmer, bringing a smooth jumper off the catch alongside the 6’4 frame. Contributing a steady percentage from distance last season and throughout the summer, he was among the more reliable perimeter shooters in the southern front range. His willingness to not only attack the rim, but draw contact on a consistent basis will be essential towards rounding out his offensive repertoire.

A capable shotmaker off the catch, Yunker was much more assertive through Palmer’s 20-5 stretch this past season. Paired with his lanky frame, he is no easy contest given his high release. Bringing an efficient playstyle, Yunker makes the majority of his impact within a couple dribbles, scoring off the catch or straight line drives. Throughout the spring with the Miners, the guard has reaffirmed his high floor skillset, holding his own on both ends.
