Expert Analysis
Bobby Lopez | Prep Hoops Scout
Pecic established himself early as one of the more productive freshman guards in Colorado basketball. Leading Palmer in scoring at 11.9 points per game while shooting 41% from three showed both confidence and efficiency against varsity competition. He operates comfortably as a true three level scorer, capable of creating separation off the bounce, knocking down perimeter shots and finishing in space. His offensive polish and pace stand out for a young guard, and the 29 point performance during the season was another indicator of his upside. Since the high school season ended, Pecic has continued elevating his game throughout the summer. He’s showing improved defensive engagement, better physicality and a more complete overall approach offensively. Given his production as a freshman contributor, his long term ranking trajectory continues trending upward

Pecic established himself as a constant scoring threat all weekend long, showing exactly why he’s such a dangerous shooter. He never hesitated to let it fly from deep, stretching defenses the moment he crossed half court. What really stood out was how well he got to his spots, using subtle separation to create clean looks even when defenders were keyed in on him. His quick release and confidence made him tough to contest, and once he saw one go in, he could heat up in a hurry. Pecic’s shot making and movement made him one of the more difficult covers throughout the weekend

Pecic’s shooting ability was on full display all weekend, and he continues to prove why he’s one of the top freshmen in the state. He’s a knockdown shooter who thrives off movement, coming off screens, and letting it fly with confidence. What Bo also showed was touch in the mid-range and the ability to finish in transition. The next step is expanding his all-around game, but the scoring punch is undeniable, and opposing teams got to see plenty of that. Big weekend for him where he solidified himself.

. Pecic is lighting it up from deep and providing an offensive explosion. In this stretch, we’re seeing him knock down the 3-ball, move without the ball, and find holes in the defense, and also score with ease. He’s starting to get in a groove and once that consistency kicks in, I think we’re looking at a really good player. He’s coming along and is a prospect to keep eyes on as we head into the final stretch of the season.

Pecic has exceeded early expectations and looks like a true varsity-level scorer as a freshman. He’s averaging 11.8 points with nearly five rebounds, showing that he can get inside and finish, and he shows up on both ends. His 21- and 29-point outings highlight his scoring abilities and show that he can light it up. But his rebounding capabilities make him even better. He makes a rise in the rankings this go-round with how he’s performed to start the season.

While Bo plays the shooting guard, he can easily transition to point guard and become a facilitator when needed. What differentiates Bo from others at his position is his relentlessness and drive to get wins. Being selfless, Pecic understands how to incorporate his teammates in the pursuit of victory.

Pecic is an offensive sniper from deep who can score from all three levels and consistently puts pressure on defenses. He’s confident with the ball in his hands, has a smooth shooting stroke and knows how to create offense in different ways. On the other end, he competes hard and applies tough defensive pressure to opposing ball handlers, setting the tone with his effort and intensity. As he continues to grow, we want to see Pecic refine his ability to get open and create cleaner looks for himself within the flow of the offense. Further developing his defensive instincts and consistency will also help him become an even more complete two way threat. With his shooting ability and work ethic, Pecic is a player whose game continues to trend upward
