Van Allen’s athleticism, speed, and length were on full display, on Friday, and he stood out as one of the better players at The Tune Up. When not crashing the offensive glass, or diving on the floor, the 6-0 Winneconne product was knocking down outside jumpers and harassing whomever he was guarding resulting in multiple steals. With seven graduating seniors, I expect Van Allen to have a big role for the Wolves this fall.

A lengthy shooting guard Van Allen showed off a variety of skills on Sunday afternoon, starting with a nice stop and pop jumper in the paint in the first half. Van Allen’s shooting ability was on full display knocking down three-pointers with ease throughout the contest. At 5’11 Van Allen uses his size and length on the defensive side of the ball to disrupt opponents and come away with the steal, while also using his speed to get to the rack on offense.
