The Tune-Up: Friday 15U standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Friday was full of action at The Champion Center as The Prep Hoops Tune Up wrapped up. Defensively Tomori played physical, in the post, and, on the perimeter, showed the lateral quickness to stay with a smaller ballhandler, even picking his pocket for a layup. Offensively when not crashing the offensive glass, Tomori was showing his improving range knocking down a couple of three balls. One of the better players, at getting downhill, John plays very physical and had no problem getting to the rim, at will, delivering contact and finishing in a variety of ways. Big, physical player who used his length, and great athleticism to outwork his opponents for five offensive rebounds in the first half of the game I watched. Sporting a quick first step, Folts had no problem blowing by defenders, finishing in a variety of ways, when not dropping off nifty passes to cutting teammates. Given any space, Foults made the defense pay knocking down several threes in each game. When not crashing the offensive glass, or diving on the floor, the 6-0 Winneconne product was knocking down outside jumpers and harassing whomever he was guarding resulting in multiple steals. With seven graduating seniors, I expect Van Allen to have a big role for the Wolves this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
