Offensively, he applied pressure at the rim with assertive drives and made steady, controlled decisions in the half-court. Isaiah has the chance to develop into a really good player for Fox Valley Lutheran over the years. At 6’3 he already possesses a nice frame out on the perimeter, and has impressive athleticism that helps him make plays on both ends. He can rise up to block shots, or finish above the rim in the open floor. I had watched him play at the 14u level back in June, and since then he looks to be a bit more confident as a shooter. When defenders sagged off him to prevent a drive, Isaiah simply knocked down the open three at a high percentage.

Isaiah started things off strong during the opening game of the day for Power 5 North. Playing at the top of a 2-3 zone, Isaiah utilized his impressive length to come up with steal after steal, and from there was able to get to the rim on his own, or pick out a well-timed pass to a teammate. In the half-court he was capable of connecting from three, or weaving his way to the basket off the dribble. Intriguing combination of size and skill for a young guard.

Burleton was an energy leader at camp. He was quick end to end and was scoring easily in transition. I was impressed with him as an on ball defender. Burleton is methodical with the ball in his hands and scored it on all three levels of the floor.
