Aaron was one of the biggest stock risers during the KABC live period in June. Adams earned multiple D1 offers and will ride a wave of momentum into his Junior season. Possibly the best prospect in the Western part of Kentucky, Adams offers a lot of length and athleticism as a wing. He’s a good finisher at the rim and even offers some rim protection when he plays like a small ball 5 man.
I’m not sure any prospect raised their stock more than Adams did this weekend as he was dominant at both ends of the court for McCracken County and in the process earned multiple Division I offers. Adams is a versatile wing who is playing with the ball in his hands a lot more than I saw last season and doing a nice job of setting up his teammates off pick and roll sets and drive and kickouts. Adams also shot the ball well from 3-point range, taking a nice mix of set shots and shots off the dribble. Adams will be a name you hear a lot about from Kentucky’s 2028 class.
Another player whose stock has taken off in the last week, Adams has gone from no offers to three D1 offers since games started on Friday. Perhaps the single biggest stock booster in Kentucky over the live period, Aaron is a big and versatile wing with a very bright future.
A bit of a hidden gem, Adams has good size and is a bouncy athlete. With his length, Aaron can guard several positions but should be recruited as a 3/4 at the next level.
Adams is long and athletic with the ability to play above the rim when he’s getting downhill. He’s also comfortable stepping out and knocking down 3s or putting the ball on the floor and attacking. The transfer of Miles Woodfork into McCracken stifled Aaron’s numbers this season at McCracken but I think his best basketball is all ahead of him.
Adams was a really strong presence for this Nashville Stars UAA 2028 group as they’ve been doing really well while playing up an age group this weekend. He can really help protect the rim for this group while showing flashes of skill in the open floor. He does a great job guarding the post, using his strong frame to shield the opposition from the rim and wall up with his size/length. Offensively he shows quality touch with great vision out of the interior when dealing with pressure from the opponent. He’s consistently working on the glass at both ends of the floor leading to extra possessions for his team. It’s easy to see why the Kentucky site has him ranked as high as they do with his game being very translatable to the next level with plenty of time to still develop and add new tools to the bag.

is on track for a breakout season. Aaron had a strong season where he shot 51/44/76 at 6’6″ and offered rim protection and some rebounding. It’s likely that Aaron’s production took a hit due to the transfer of Miles WoodforkMilesWoodfork

into McCracken but I expect Adams’ stock to get back to trending up this spring and summer.
Only a Sophomore, Adams has great positional size and skill. Aaron is comfortable both inside and out as a scorer and could be a dangerous wing as his ball handling tightens up. He will ultimately be judged on his ability to guard big wings.
Aaron had a strong freshman season at McCracken and has been impressive in AAU as well. Adams, like most in this class, needs to get stronger as his game continues to develop but he has some impressive physical tools and is confident as a shooter. A player who should continue to see his stock rise as his skills develop, Aaron is a good player to keep an eye on for his long term potential.
One of the more high upside kids in the class in my opinion, Aaron is getting better and better. He’s long and pretty athletic and his confidence continues to grow as he becomes more and more of an impact player at the varsity level in high school and on the 15u AAU level. I haven’t seen Adams play live in a few months but recent film looks like he’s starting to embrace his above average athleticism and play above the rim more.
