9/27/26: Elite outside shooter. That much was known for the last year. Numerous people throughout middle Tennessee raved about Lucas’ consistent shooting. It is true. Arguably the best scorer in the entire event. Incredible shooter. Jaw-dropping efficiency from behind the arc. Gritty. Often long-range shooters lack toughness and do not like contact. Lucas competed with an unusual toughness. Great off-ball defender. Sees everything.

2/11/26: Not a good first half at all. Lucas made two free throws but missed all of his outside shots. He is known as a remarkable catch-and-shoot guy, and this was disappointing. Still, he was reliable as a ball-handler and did not turn the ball over. The one weakness he has, and might always have, is he is just smaller than the guys defending him. In the game’s final two minutes FRA fought to hold on to their small lead. Every out-of-bounds play was designed to get the ball to their best free throw shooter Lucas. This was a wise move by FRA Head Coach
