A monster outing for Stone who is one of the toughest covers in the 2028 class, Stone caught fire from downtown in a massive win over Louisville Male that featured 2028 point guards going shot for shot. Stone reminds me a lot of Athens McGillis, a top point guard from Kentucky's 2026 class who ended up at recent Division II national champion Nova Southeastern. Stone might be an even better long-distance shooter than McGillis was and his ability to create space for himself off the dribble is so impressive. Combine his offensive skill with a competitive fire that doesn't back down from anybody and Stone is a name for college programs to know.

Moving from Texas to Kentucky, Augmon made a splash this weekend and looks like a name who could blow up in Kentucky this winter. An elite athlete from the wing position, Augmon displayed impressive tools and had defensive impact by jumping passing lanes and switching onto players at different positions. Augmon also displayed quick explosiveness as he rose up for a couple monster slam dunks as well as a quick second jump for offensive rebounds in the paint. While I didn't see Augmon light it up from downtown, other college coaches mentioned him shooting it well from the outside in other games this weekend. Expect Augmon to debut high in the Kentucky 2028 class when they get updated next.

I'm not sure any prospect raised their stock more than Adams did this weekend as he was dominant at both ends of the court for McCracken County and in the process earned multiple Division I offers. Adams is a versatile wing who is playing with the ball in his hands a lot more than I saw last season and doing a nice job of setting up his teammates off pick and roll sets and drive and kickouts. Adams also shot the ball well from 3-point range, taking a nice mix of set shots and shots off the dribble. Adams will be a name you hear a lot about from Kentucky's 2028 class.

George Rogers Clark has a reload not rebuilt mentality and Thomas is a name who should step into a much bigger role this winter after playing a bunch role on the state championship team as a sophomore. Tough to stop when he goes up on his left shoulder, Thomas has the size and physicality to overwhelm opponents with his back to the basket. I was also impressed with Thomas ability to play on the fast break as guys his size don't usually move as well as he does in a straight line. Expect to see George Rogers Clark once again competing for a state title with a deep and talented roster.

If Adams was the biggest stock riser among 2028 prospects this weekend, Nikolovski was the most improved player I saw from the winter to last weekend. Looking much more confident with the ball in his hands, Nikolovski was playing at his own pace and knocking down shots off the dribble at a high clip in a fun back and forth game with Lexington Christian Academy on their home court. While I was impressed last season with Nikolovski's open court athleticism and slashing ability, his perimeter improvements have taken his game to a new level and he's set to be a big riser in the next 2028 rankings update.

I liked what Farmer brought to his team as his physicality and aggressiveness stood out for Lexington Christian Academy. Farmer did a nice job of sealing his defenders and keeping them on his hip once he got a step attacking going left. Farmer and [player_tooltip player_id='2400700' first='Caleb' last='Marshall'] form a dynamic 2028 duo for Lexington Christian Academy and once [player_tooltip player_id='2400692' first='Chase' last='Bentley'] comes back, they should be one of the top teams in the greater Lexington area for the next two seasons.
