Capable of scoring or facilitating, Cooper is likely to score over 2,000 career points and help the Cardinals to a lot of wins.

Stone’s mechanics are consistent, and his playmaking ability, ball-handling, and overall skill set make him an even bigger offensive threat.

Cooper is having a monster season for a Taylor County team that is in the thick of the 5th region title race. Averaging 22 points per game, Stone moved up from 34th to 25th in this update. Shooting 59/46/75 on the season, Cooper has a case to be first team all region this year.

Stone caught fire in this one as he just has a natural feel as a scorer that stands out. Able to hit tough shots off the dribble from 3-point range, Stone also displayed the ability to hit floaters and mid-range shots despite not being the most gifted athlete in terms of size or burst. To score the way Stone does at his size, you need to be extremely skilled and Stone is. I think the future is very bright for Taylor County as they were unlucky to not come away with a victory in the opening round.

Stone is one of the most impactful transfers this offseason as his move from Green County to Taylor County shifts the power rankings a little in the 5th region. A heady guard who can attack off the bounce or knock down an open three, Cooper is capable of being a true two way play. Stone is strong and can hold up against bigger guards. He also has quick hands that allow him to get deflections. Look for a potentially big season for Cooper at Taylor County.

Taylor County has a strong 2028 class and Stone made a handful of jumpers to keep his team competitive Vs one of the better teams in the Dayton area. What I liked most about Stone’s game was his ability to play on balance on pull-up jumpers. Stone would get to his spot and rise up on balance and keep the same form regardless of how he got to his shot. If Stone can improve his lateral quickness with off-season training, he’ll have even more space to fire away jumpers from long range. One of the top 2028 guards in southern Kentucky, you’ll be hearing more about Stone over the next few years.

Stone had a really strong freshman season at Green County and is the first notable transfer of the offseason with his move to Taylor County. Cooper is a crafty guard who can score or create when needed. A primary ball handler most of the time, Stone is effective at getting into the paint and is already strong enough to finish through contact and convert And-1 opportunities.

Stone really impressed with his skill level and poise on Saturday. Green County is loaded with talent but I won’t be surprised if he carves out some minutes for the Dragons this season thanks to his scoring and playmaking. Cooper is an aggressive downhill driver and high level finisher. He was very good on Saturday and went from unknown to likely a top 20 player in this class when rankings drop sometime soon.
