If he gets out in front in transition, look out, he’s looking at finishing high and dynamic fashion. Cain’s skills are very now basketball, at the rim or behind the arc. Jalen Cain Jalen Cain 6'3" | SF Minnetonka | 2023 State MN is a six-foot-three-inch uncommitted 2023 athletic shooting guard. Cain is strong in transition, especially running ahead off long rebounds and steals. He’s active on the offensive boards, especially crashing on teammate drives. Improved 3-point shooter. On the Skippers team, Cain plays a little bit out of position, but his versatility enables him to stay on the floor versus bigger opponents.

Jordan Cain Jordan Cain 6'3" | SF Minnetonka | 2024 State MN is a six-foot-three-inch guard that has a blossoming perimeter game. The 2023 Cain is a dynamic athlete in the open court but versus DeLaSalle his 3-point shot is really coming along nicely. The shooting motion looks very smooth, especially on spot-ups. Cain uses his athletic ability to snag rebounds, especially on the offensive end which enables him to get put backs at a high rate, a quality that is very helpful at the next level.

The intensity Jalen has been playing with when I have seen him play recently has been very impressive. He completely dominated on Sunday, taking over in both games I was able to watch. He was dunking everything in transition, showing off his elite athleticism with his jumping abilities and his speed. He was also able to show off what he can do with the ball in his hands as he took some rebounds coast-to-coast for some tough finishes. He played great defense all day, coming away with numerous steals and blocks as well. Cain looks to lead an experienced Minnetonka team that will be very fun to watch this season.

Jalen Cain Jalen Cain 6'3" | SF Minnetonka | 2023 State MN standing six-foot-three-inches, Jalen Cain Jalen Cain 6'3" | SF Minnetonka | 2023 State MN has never seen a transition opportunity he didn’t like. Cain will pressure defenders on the perimeter to force turnovers and then immediately fly route his way towards his own basket where more often than not he finishes with a flush. Cain is always working, either looking for easy buckets off cuts or drawing charges on defense. This past summer he played with JSizzle on the 3SSB circuit.
