Oashean Palma 2021 BGCOKC forward
A tall, athletic and lanky forward, Oashean Palma is the last player to get bullied in the paint for boards. Palma has exceptional hands and ball-control, which he displayed in OKC as he out-competed opposing athletes for boards and gave his team an edge on both ends of the floor.
Jade Watkins 2021 Wolfpack point-forward
Jade Watkins, an exceptionally-versatile athlete who possesses size, strength and speed, dominated the boards last weekend for Wolfpack. Aside from being among its most talented scorers, Watkins also was one of the most physical and dominant rebounders in the 16U bracket.
Jeromy Morgan 2021 Rocky Mountain Select forward
Jeromy Morgan is an astoundingly athletic player who took advantage of his size, length and speed to attack the rebounding game each time I watched him. At 6-foot-7-inches, Morgan has a special frame and could keep possessions short for opposing teams by gathering boards on the defensive end of the floor.
Boomer Barnes 2022 BTR forward
Hailing from Putnam City West High School (Oklahoma City, Okla.), Boomer Barnes put on a fantastic display of dominance in the rebounding game over the weekend. The incoming sophomore looks to solidify his name amongst the brightest front-court players in the 2022 Oklahoma class, and rebounding is a big part of his slant.
Nick Foster AET Elite 2022 wing
One of the more pleasant new finds of the weekend, Nick Foster has tremendous upside as an athlete. Every aspect of his game is impressive, one of which being rebounding. Foster was unafraid to follow his shot and get the put-back, cutting through the lane and elevating over opposing players to compete for boards. Watch Foster’s progression and the way he competes if you get the chance.
