[player_tooltip player_id='2395557' first='Gus' last='McKenna'] of Pequot Lakes/[program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']. Gus is a 6'8 leading scorer of the state runner-up team in Class AA basketball. At 6'8 he played small forward and power forward for his team as they were a team with size. In AAU, McKenna plays in the frontcourt and also has success. At 6'8 with three point range to the arc, but also agility going to the rim and getting up the floor, McKenna has the mobility schools want as well. Between the size at 6'8, the face up skill and the agility, McKenna has the most potential of a frontcourt player in Minnesota.

[player_tooltip player_id='2395830' first='Oliver' last='McKenna'] of Pequot Lakes/[program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']. If there was a guy that could surpass Gus it might be from somebody on his own team and from his own household! Gus is more skilled and he has been healthy so he is more advanced experience wise. Oliver has been dealing with an injury for months but has just come back from injury. Oliver is a bit taller than Gus and has more agility. Not as experienced of course because of injury and not the same face up range, but Oliver also a very strong prospect. Oliver has had a good month of May with the Comets and is a player we look forward to watching close.

[player_tooltip player_id='2606664' first='Musunguindji' last='Mwenentanda'] of Bloomington Kennedy/Hoop Habits. Another new name comes from Kennedy and goes by "Mus" for short. Mus was listed at Sioux Falls and in Nebraska from some past years of basketball and now he is in Minnesota and making a top ten level in state mark on things. Mwenentanda averaged 23.1 points, 10 rebounds and 1.4 blocks a game this past winter shooting 52 percent from the field, 79 percent from the foul line and he made 32 of 75 threes this year. He has also carried his face up game at 6'7 to Hoop Habits scoring in the post and from mid-range for a team that has only lost one game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2392217' first='David' last='Addai'] of St. Paul Johnson/Hoop Habits. Playing next to Mus for Hoop Habits has been [player_tooltip player_id='2392217' first='David' last='Addai'], a 6'7 forward with a strong frame and agility. The potential is there for a big next twelve months. Last year he played behind Turner for Johnson in their four guard/wing pressuring system that has one big. Addai is in great position to step into that frontcourt role and bring more activity and agility to it. David has played the rim running, above the rim finishing, above the rim board grabbing role well this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2561052' first='Chase' last='Maetzold'] of Chaska/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']/Minnesota Swish. Chase scored ten points a game for the state champions as a sophomore and led the team in rebounding at over six a game. He shot 43 percent at the arc as a 6'6/6'7 forward and is playing for both [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] (maybe 16s at times and 17 times at times based on the box scores) and the Swish team that has only lost a couple games. A skilled stretch player that gets paint results too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832193' first='Erik' last='Bakke'] of Maranatha Christian/[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Bakke is all of 6'10 and maybe 6'11. As a player that size Bakke runs pretty well and while his agility needs more experience to get comfortable, the potential to be agile at 6'11 is there. We've seen him in the Expo, the fall league, and at [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] practice and there is a touch there too. Obviously the length to block and contest shots at a level that 99.5 percent of hoopers can't dream of getting to and the potential for more.
