B. Cook is 6'5 and smooth with it. He is nice on the offensive end as a steady scoring threat in every which way and he seems to understand the game of Basketball to a T when it comes to the X's and O's. Sometimes a team just needs a bucket getter, who has a real natural feel for the game and that's Cook. He was a standout in every contest his group play at this event and I'm sure that's a consistent them every weekend on the road with his mixture of size and skill.

Evan Bekius loves to move off of the ball while cutting to the bucket. I can't name the amount of times that I saw Bekius go back door this weekend for a simple finish over the defense. Their team ran sets for it and there were times when the play broke down and he just naturally cut to the open space on the floor, which stood out. Defensively, this is someone with good size and length at 6'4. Their team runs a 1-3-1 defense or at least they did at this event and Bekius stood out as someone flying all over the court on that side of the ball. He never settled on a play and was someone that always kept things moving, which you have to love from an outside POV.

The PG of this undefeated group this weekend was #33 - Lucas Warczinsky. Warczinsky might not get the glory for scoring 30 points a contest but he was crucial in starting his team's offensive motion. Everything started with Warczinsky coming down the floor and getting everyone in the correct positions with whatever they were running. Some might not understand how important this job is but this is the type of hooper than a coach can trust in when it matters the most. The type you love to have on your roster but you hate to compete against. I see all of that in Warczinsky. He just needs to continue to progress as he gets older and he will be a name we see at the college level in some aspect in the near future.

One of the more interesting prospects we saw at this event had to be Jonathan Crow of Michigan Ignition 15U. Crow os 6'3 and listed as a PF. I could maybe see the Forward position at the high school level but during AAU, he moves so well off the ball that he is more of a 3 than anything else. He can handle under pressure and get to favorable spots on the floor. He can rebound and defend the middle while also being able to switch onto a smaller guard. He can also play off of the ball and still produce at steady rate. All in all, Crow checks off a lot of boxes that college staffs might have already. He just needs to continue to refine all of that ability as he gets older. If he happens to grow even more, who knows where he might end up.

We saw glimpses of quick athletic ability and natural form out of Javian McCoy at Battle Of The Lakes. He has an incredibly fast first step, usually leaving his individual matchup off balance while trying to get down hill off of the Wing. Defensively, he can man up and stick in front of someone his size or he can even play bigger than that when needed. He understands when to wall up and when to go for a strip or steal too. On a team that plays as one, sometimes it can be hard to standout but McCoy holds his own. He makes the most of his chances and that's all you can really as for.

Lockhart is another individual on this team that knows how to play the game the right way. He is listed as a 6'1 Power Forward but he seems to be more of a CG or SF than anything else from the way that he attacks from the outside. He doesn't sit in the post and his back to the basket action is limited on the offense the way that this group spreads the floor with 5-Out. He is solid off the dribble, getting all the way to the basket at a steady rate when he does decide to go at his matchup. This was a good showing for Lockhart and company. They stood out as the best 15U team at this event and I'm sure that trend could continue throughout the rest of the Spring/Summer.
