One of the more interesting prospects we saw at this event had to be Jonathan Crow of Michigan Ignition 15U. Crow os 6’3 and listed as a PF. I could maybe see the Forward position at the high school level but during AAU, he moves so well off the ball that he is more of a 3 than anything else. He can handle under pressure and get to favorable spots on the floor. He can rebound and defend the middle while also being able to switch onto a smaller guard. He can also play off of the ball and still produce at steady rate. All in all, Crow checks off a lot of boxes that college staffs might have already. He just needs to continue to refine all of that ability as he gets older. If he happens to grow even more, who knows where he might end up.

Crow has a reputation for being a high energy player that’s willing to do whatever is needed from him for his team to get the W.

Played with an all 2029 team that competed up a division this weekend and performed well going 2-2. Plays in the 4- or 5-man role. Caught him Saturday night vs a team that made it to the quarters. A 100% energy and effort player. Got on the floor for loose balls and will sacrifice for the betterment of the team. Offensively converted on a tough take to the rim through traffic and hit a smooth baseline mid-range jumper in transition. Shares it effectively as well. Made a tip on a pass which he pitched ahead for an assist and made a drive and kick to the wing for a 3. Effects the game in multiple ways.
