His improved scoring has made the Hawks offense less predictable while he is still a pass first point guard. His ability to block shots from the guard position gives the Hawks a unique defensive advantage. Yusuf made two 3-pointers, one on a play that he got himself open into the court for a catch and shoot, and the other with the ball his hands coming a screen into a pull-up. Hagler is a pretty good athlete on the perimeter and his quickness, strength and speed make him a tough cover. Betton showed ability to shoot from the perimeter with two 3-pointers and he used his athletic ability to grab 6 rebounds. The six-foot-two-inch 2027 junior guard scored 25 points against GSL Friday night. Purcell is difficult to slow down when he gets downhill off the dribble and is a solid, physical bodied guard.
