The baseline video guys will be flooding the space behind the officials on the Hopkins offensive end at White Bear Lake on Wednesday night when the Bears welcome the Royals. Northern Florida signed [player_tooltip player_id='1560749' first='Colin' last='Piper'] gets a chance to go against nationally ranked [player_tooltip player_id='2420169' first='Ahmed' last='Nur'] and up and comer [player_tooltip player_id='2388499' first='Anthony' last='Byrd'] up front. Watch out for the Doppler effect as UND signed [player_tooltip player_id='1550877' first='Jayden' last='Moore'] flies by to make plays. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Randolph Turkey Tournament.</strong> I don't know what the official name of this holiday event is but I like Randolph Turkey Tournament, and it starts with Simley's veteran team led by Willie Braziel taking on Mayer Lutheran. Southeast metro corner, Southwest metro corner, they come together where the Rockets play. Some good guards here with [player_tooltip player_id='2405556' first='Tre' last='Lovelace'] and Connor Strieiff of the [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''] going against Crusaders [player_tooltip player_id='2125730' first='Ben' last='Lindesmith'] and company. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The winner of that game gets the winner of Bloomington Kennedy and Randolph. Kennedy is of course a place where Braziel coached in the past and is now coached by [player_tooltip player_id='2897741' first='Troy' last='Bell']. [player_tooltip player_id='2120515' first='Colton' last='Ford'] and Delannie Busch are names to watch in that other semi-final. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jamboree or Games?</strong> We say GAMES. There are 19 games on Saturday and the headliner is like that Delano vs Richfield match-up of 6AAA section foes. It's Delano who most don't expect much from (but I think they will surprise) against Richfield who has huge expectations and is ranked third in AAA. Remember, with Max out, [player_tooltip player_id='2910343' first='Nate' last='Nielsen'], Ben Tellers and [player_tooltip player_id='1560809' first='Bjorn' last='Stewart'] were big parts of last year's Delano team. They are all back. That said, Richfield has a starting five that will be a monster to deal with ([player_tooltip player_id='1560817' first='Adin' last='Inda'], [player_tooltip player_id='2126145' first='Waleed' last='Muhammad'], [player_tooltip player_id='2140700' first='Tyrece' last='Hagler'], [player_tooltip player_id='2574749' first='Gideon' last='Horne'] and Drew Collins). Plus the game is at Richfield. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I also like that Denfeld vs South St. Paul game (at SSP) as a sneaky fun one. Guys like [player_tooltip player_id='2466472' first='Lee' last='Brooks'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2877064' first='Carter' last='Brown'] from Denfeld taking on a SSP team looking to put things together. They have the talent for it with [player_tooltip player_id='1548694' first='Keishion' last='Jarmon'], [player_tooltip player_id='2120510' first='Addison' last='Tereau'], Adonis Williams, [player_tooltip player_id='2126460' first='Donte' last='Branch'] and others. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chisago Lakes at Hibbing. Chisago won three games last year but they have a new coach and two scorers in [player_tooltip player_id='1560843' first='Cohen' last='Underhill'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3077591' first='Joe' last='Couwenhoven'] who are not only coming off good years numbers wise, both are being recruited by D3s and NAIA schools at a good level right now. Hibbing is the section favorite led by [player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] and his big numbers, but [player_tooltip player_id='1585301' first='Evan' last='Bolden'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2979877' first='Jack' last='Bottoms'] too. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Henning at Lake Park-Audobon. This should be a number scoring battle between Class A Preseason Player of the Year [player_tooltip player_id='1560827' first='Kale' last='Misegades'] and 1,000 plus scorers [player_tooltip player_id='2434187' first='Luca' last='Beske'], a senior for LPA.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
