Making a U-turn back to Central Dauphin after a planned move to nearby Susquehanna Township, Dickerson looks ready to make his mark this year after mostly watching from the bench as a freshman on last year’s state title team. Dickerson impressed on Sunday with his dynamic shotmaking ability, showing a smooth and confident release with polished footwork and a high pocket to shoot over contests from smaller guards. He’s not the quickest but shows a nice skill level off the bounce when run off the line along with the ability to make some slick reads as a passer on the move. If he can avoid falling into the trap of forcing his own shot, Dickerson could provide a key boost of instant offense off the bench for the Rams while asserting himself as a clear scholarship-level prospect to monitor.

Dickerson is an imposing presence on the perimeter because of his sheer size. He plays at his own pace and does a good job of not getting sped up by defenders. He has the ability to play both inside and out, and he can’t be left open from beyond the three-point line. Dickerson also fills the lane well in transition and shows good touch around the basket. Moving forward, I’d like to see him speed up his release and continue working on quicker feet to maximize his overall effectiveness.
