Believe it or not, June basketball is just right around the corner which means we will be right back into high school play as summer kicks off. Spring AAU is in full swing right now, but that does not mean we cannot look ahead to June where we will see our in-state prospects get back with their respective high school squads for a full month. For the next few weeks, we will look at some players for each class and position group as I give you my personal watch list for the month of June. Of course, every player we have in the state is a must-watch, but here are four point guards in the 2026 class that you should focus on just a little bit more.

One of the best under-the-radar point guards we have in the state is Shelbyville's [player_tooltip player_id='1561061' first='Caden' last='Claxton'], who is coming off a junior year that saw him lead them 15.1 points per game. Running with [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] White 17u this spring, Claxton has once again caught our eye over at PH Indiana with his consistent strong play on the hardwood. A guy that can produce at a high-level at nearly every spot on the floor, Claxton is a tough player that has elite shot-making ability. Shelbyville looks like they can be a great team next year so it will be fun to see Claxton and them in June.

One of the more productive 2026 point guards we have in the state is Northview's Braden Goff and so far this spring, he is picking right where he left off doing his junior season. After leading Northview in points (16.2), rebounds (6.1), and assists (4.9), he has been pretty much spectacular for Indiana Jammers 17u. While he is on the shorter side as a lead guard, Goff can put up numbers like he showed at Run-N-Slam a few weeks ago. Goff is the type of player that if you need anything on the floor as a coach, you can put him in any siltation and he will produce.

Coming up next season for Blackhawk Christian, it will be time for the 2026 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1738845' first='Briggs' last='Pardon'] to run the show and all signs point to the Braves being his team now. Pardon has been running with [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last='']-UA Rise 17u this spring and had over at Prep Ho[program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] Indiana. Averaging a little over 10.0 points per game as a junior, Pardon is a tremendous on-ball guard with explosiveness and high creativity in the lane with tough finishing ability. With a more prominent role, even more than what he had last season, it is going to be interesting to watch him with Blackhawk Christian in June. With Pardon, expect production at a high level.

There is no secret about it, [player_tooltip player_id='1561118' first='Doron' last='Harris'] is one of the more shifty, quick points guard we have in the the in-state 2026 class and his upside is unlimited. After leading Lawrence Central in scoring with 13.8 points per game, Harris has had a strong AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] thus far showcasing his elite athletic ability at that lead guard spot. What stands out with Harris is just how explosive he is on the ball as well as being a sniper at times from the field. Do not let his smaller size fool you, Harris is a stud of a player and will turn some heads come June.
