The grassroots circuit is certainly different than it used to be. Gone are the days of there just being a handful of teams from each state all converging to the same locations each weekend. Shoe circuits have led to taking the best teams all across the country while even at the local level there are multiple different events each weekend. For example, this weekend there were three different events within a 10 mile radius of the Noblesville/Fishers area. Then, about 30 miles west, there was a shoe circuit event in Lebanon. Of course, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage all weekend long from all four events. We will continue cranking out content from the busy weekend over the next few days, but for now let's empty the notebook from Sunday specifically.

8:00 a.m. Crew

The 8:00 a.m. Crew was up and at 'em at Fishers High School covering two different courts on Sunday morning. [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 16u was taking on the [program_tooltip program_id='2144117' first='Midwest' last='Stars'] 16u on the main floor while Indiana Elite Central 16u played [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u in the auxiliary gym.

[player_tooltip player_id='2402389' first='Jackson' last='Faust'] (Triton Central H.S. 2027) was the first standout of the game hitting a pair of early catch-and-shoot three-point shots for the [program_tooltip program_id='2144117' first='Midwest' last='Stars']. The 6'1" guard was a big part of having his team in the lead for most of the game, but ultimately [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] escaped with a 58-55 victory. It was [player_tooltip player_id='2140420' first='Nash' last='Sigmund'] (Decatur Central H.S. 2027) who answered the bell early on connecting on a couple of triples of his own to battle head-to-head with Faust. Faust finished with 17 points and 5 rebounds in the game while [player_tooltip player_id='2140407' first='Kellen' last='Crim'] (Morristown H.S. 2027) and [player_tooltip player_id='2140415' first='Logan' last='Simpson'] (Greensburg H.S. 2027) each contributed double-figures as well, but it wasn't enough to hold on against the talented [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] group.

Meanwhile, [player_tooltip player_id='2140412' first='Kyle' last='Edwards'] (Whiteland H.S. 2027) led in the scoring column for Indiana Elite Central in their hard fought win over [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u. [player_tooltip player_id='2560420' first='Will' last='Davison'] (New Palestine H.S. 2028) impressed with his shot-making ability for Team Indiana in the loss. The talented 6'3" guard will be prepared to take on a much expanded scoring role as New Palestine graduates a ton of points. Josh Bowers (Homeschool 2027), a 6'9" big man is an intriguing name to keep an eye on for Indiana Elite Central as well.

Class of 2026 Prospects Under the Indiana Elite Umbrella Shine

In the second round of games at Fishers High School on Sunday morning we had the opportunity to watch [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 17u after their opponent did not show up when we played to get eyes on them on Saturday morning. [player_tooltip player_id='2843570' first='Jamar' last='Thomas'] (Lawrence North H.S. 2026) dominated the game out of the gate for Team Indiana. The athletic, versatile, 6'5" wing was super disruptive defensively and turned it into several transition scoring opportunities. His size and length on the perimeter allows him to create some matchup issues on both ends of the floor. Thomas is a really intriguing prospect to follow into this summer with a lot of upside. 6'5" left-handed guard [player_tooltip player_id='2399375' first='Keaton' last='Lawson'] (Columbus East H.S. 2026) and 6'6" physical forward [player_tooltip player_id='1561009' first='Luke' last='Weemer'] (Hamilton Southeastern H.S. 2026) were the other prospects that popped for Team Indiana in a blowout victory.

Then, on the way out the door, we were able to catch the end of [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] 17u's win over [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 17u. [player_tooltip player_id='1561435' first='Julien' last='Smith'] (Cathedral H.S. 2026) led the way in that one scoring 23 points while backcourt mate [player_tooltip player_id='1561031' first='Cameron' last='Webster'] (Lawrence North H.S. 2026) continued his excellent weekend adding 15 points for [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana']. In the loss, [player_tooltip player_id='1561114' first='Brandon' last='Addison'] (Brownsburg H.S. 2026) finished with 23 points after a stretch where he went off from beyond the arc in the second half.

Indiana Junior All-Stars Lead Indiana Basketball Club

Indiana Basketball Club 3SGB 17u found themselves locked in a tight game throughout against a good KY Storm Elite 17u team. In fact, they trailed for a decent amount of time until [player_tooltip player_id='2024513' first='Nick' last='Shrewsberry'] (South Bend St. Joseph H.S. 2026) got hot from three-point range in the second half. The 6'4" guard fresh off of winning a Class 3A State Championship connected on three three-point shots in the span of just a handful of possessions to bring Indiana Basketball Club in front and they never looked back. Shrewsberry finished with 21 points while fellow Indiana Junior All-Star [player_tooltip player_id='2625235' first='JaShawn' last='Ladd'] added 19 points in the win. [player_tooltip player_id='2046154' first='Lewis' last='Harvey'] (Ben Davis H.S. 2026), an intriguing 6'8" big man, chipped in 12 points.

[program_tooltip program_id='2129012' first='Circle' last='City Shooters'] Pick Up Big Victory

The [program_tooltip program_id='2129012' first='Circle' last='City Shooters'] capped off a 3-1 weekend with an 86-77 victory over MAD Basketball Academy on Sunday evening at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon. This game was all about [player_tooltip player_id='2812792' first='Elijah' last='Wilson'] (Shortridge H.S. 2026) and his dominant performance from beyond the arc. Wilson, who averaged over 20 points per game as a junior at Shortridge, had stretches in both in the first and second halves where he simply could not be stopped from beyond the arc. Whether he was creating his own shot off of the dribble, dribbling into a deep pull-up in transition, or spotting up off of the ball for a catch-and-shoot attempt, Wilson was money from all over the floor. The 6'0" guard went on to bury six three-point shots on his way to a game-high 28 points to lead the [program_tooltip program_id='2129012' first='Circle' last='City Shooters'] to victory. Tim Jones Jr (Marion H.S. 2026) added 14 points, Jedidah Minnett (Avon H.S. 2026) finished with 12 points, and Chris Thompson-Moore (Mooresville H.S. 2026) rounded out those in double-figures with 10 points.

6'4" left-handed forward [player_tooltip player_id='2472620' first='Landon' last='Osswald'] (Hamilton Southeastern H.S. 2026) connected on a couple of early three-point shots for [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] Black and never looked back as he went on to lead the way with 19 points in a 69-49 win over Kessel Heat. Osswald really showed off his face-up ability in this one making three three-point shots while also using his size to score around the basket. [player_tooltip player_id='1738825' first='Shea' last='Hollendonner'] (Centerville H.S. 2026) had a good stretch in the middle of the second half with a handful of pull-up jump shots as the 6'2" wing finished with 11 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1561697' first='Kallen' last='Hoeft'] (Hamilton Southeastern H.S. 2026 ) chipped in 10 points in the win
