Centerville fell in overtime to rival Richmond, 76-74, on Saturday night. However, Hollendonner scored 40 points to lead the Bulldogs. The 6’2″ forward, who is averaging 19.8 points per game as a senior, continues to close in on the Bulldogs’ all-time scoring record. He now sits at 1,404 career points with the record being 1,520.

There is never a question about Hollendonner’s motor. He plays extremely hard at all times and it is a big part of his success as he closes in on Centerville’s all-time career scoring mark. The unsigned senior wing finished with a game-high 17 points in their loss to Bloomington South in the afternoon. He had 11 in their earlier 58-20 win over host Lawrenceburg.

Kicking off Saturday is a huge Class 2A matchup between Centerville and Parke Heritage — both teams who will be looking to make a deep postseason run. On both sides, each team has some of the best talent in Class 2A and for Centerville, their player to watch here is their leading scorer, Shea Hollendoner. Coming into this season full healthy, Hollendonner is leading the team with 24.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. Hollendonner is a 6’2 small forward that makes his impact by being physical and consistent around the basket.

Hollendonner got a good start towards his chase of the Centerville High School all-time scoring mark on Wednesday night. The 6’2″ senior wing scored a game-high 28 points as the Bulldogs defeated Eastern Hancock 70-63.

Despite missing over half of his junior season due to an ACL tear sustained in football, Hollendonner will have a chance to go down as the all-time leading scorer in Centerville High School history. The 6’2″ wing averaged 17.3 points as a freshman, 23.0 points as a sophomore, and then 15.0 points in 10 games after returning from injury as a junior. Centerville should be a Top 10 team in Class 2A this season and Hollendonner’s physicality and consistent production around the basket will be a big part of their success.

He runs with Grand Park Premier. Shea is a physical/undersized BIG who can guard 2-5. Hollendonner finishes well at the rim and has a fast 2nd jump when needed. Shea is extra-effective in the high post.
