Biggest Standouts:

Malik Crawford (TL Hanna) - First up on the Week 6 Standouts is Malik Crawford, an unsigned senior who had a terrific performance on Thursday. He exemplified what it means to be a winning player, stepping up in multiple areas of the game to boost his team. Crawford was aggressive in attacking the basket, strong through contact, defended his position, cleaned up the glass, and made unselfish passes. He has a good combination of strength and mobility which help him be a versatile piece for TL Hanna, putting up 14 points along with several rebounds and assists in the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1578642' first='Lucas' last='Wiersma'] (TL Hanna) - Wiersma is one of the top Junior Forwards in the state and he too was impressive in the Yellow Jackets final region outing. He came out of the halftime locker room looking determined and immediately stepped up his play from the first half. 12 of his 16 points came in the last 16 minutes as he finished with a team-high 17 points to go with 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Wiersma did a much better job of finishing through contact and finishing on the first opportunity, and as the game went on displayed a handle and ability to get to the tin off the bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630132' first='Kiishawn' last='Farrow'] (Hillcrest) - Kiishawn was a bright spot despite the loss for Hillcrest. However, the Rams are still in playoff position and it will be important to get the Freshman valuable postseason experience. Farrow had a game-high 18 points to go with 3 steals in the loss. Two of those three steals were instinctual, showing off his defensive feel for the game and trusting that to force turnovers. He is also smart in using his small frame to create space for shots in the paint or earn trips to the free-throw line. Kiishawn was a perfect 8-8 from the free-throw line and also had 2 3PM in the matchup with TL Hanna.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679970' first='Yale' last='Davis'] (Ridge View) - Switching over to Friday's Ridge View vs Blythewood game, [player_tooltip player_id='1679970' first='Yale' last='Davis'] was a monster for the home team. He racked up a 16-point 10-assist double-double and was an integral piece to the Blazer puzzle. Yale showcased his active hands in forcing turnovers, vision in finding driving and passing lanes, speed with the ball in the open floor, and jump shooting with multiple made threes and mid-range jumpers. Davis is a true table-setting Point Guard and has a knack for putting his teammates in positions to be successful.

[player_tooltip player_id='1982894' first='RJ' last='Davis'] (Ridge View) - RJ will likely be one of the top-ranked Freshman in the opening Prep Hoops SC 2028 Rankings and he showed why against the Bengals. Davis is a high-flying athlete who impacts the game best around the rim on both ends of the floor. On Friday night, RJ was active early, battling for post position and earning trips to the free-throw line. He made a living at the charity stripe with several trips there in each half, while also having a couple of eye-opening blocks. Davis put up 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 blocks in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2149144' first='Terrion' last='Mack'] (Blythewood) - Terrion was a pleasant surprise to me in Columbia. Although he did come into the game averaging a team-high 2.7 Assists Per Game along with 3.0 Points Per Game, his wasn't a name that was glaring on my radar. He was very good in the second half, blending scoring and facilitating to help keep the Bengals within reach. Mack displayed excellent vision, a good feel for finding teammates, a sense of fearlessness when attacking the rim, and efficient jump shooting. The Sophomore finished with 14 points and 6 assists in the loss.
