Keeping the game simple can sometimes lead to the best results and Corbett did that on Saturday evening, going 5/6 from the field to tie for the team lead with 16 points. A wing guard who can knock down an open shot, slash to the rim in transition and cut in the half-court, Corbett usually scores within the natural flow of the offense instead of needing to isolate himself. On a night where both teams shot 40% or worse from the floor, the efficency of Corbett was noticeable.

The South Carolina native and newcomer to Oak Hill has helped lead them to 3-1 start in the Nike EYBL Scholastic. The 6’4 wing is a high level athlete who finishes above the rim and is an impressive perimeter shot maker. Corbett has good shot preparation and a quick trigger from the perimeter. Head Coach John Zito’s phone will be busy with college coaches tracking Corbett this season.

Our second prospect in this article ranked first in his state (Mayfield) and the second prospect to win a high school state championship (Landrew), Corbett is a high flying wing guard who has impacted winning at a high level for his team. Corbett holds a high major offer from in-state SEC program South Carolina, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see his stock rise this summer during live period action.

. He was able to use his body to work inside and out in a 13-point scoring outing. Korie is a difficult matchup for opponents at this level because he can beat bigger players off the dribble or use his strength to back down smaller players. He is also creative around the basket with spin moves and euro-steps. On the defensive end, Corbett has strong, active hands that allow him to force turnovers and get out in transition, where he is a handful.
