I really liked how Trenz impacted the game on both ends of the court despite pedestrian stat totals at the end of the night. Trenz made some nice passes in the low and high post to teammates and looked confident with the ball in his hands that he wasn’t going to turn it over. Also blocking a shot and contesting numerous others in the paint, Trenz is going to provide length and rim protection for Moeller early this season. Still developing as a scorer, Trenz does already have soft touch and projects as a potential Division I prospect if he continues to develop.

The Trenz brothers have been physically dominant in the fall league and that was no different this Sunday. One of the biggest players in the league, Austin had some impactful defensive plays by jumping passing lanes and using his size to deter guards from trying to score at the rim. I loved the passes that Trenz threw on Sunday, trying to fit the ball through tight windows and setting his teammates up in positions to score. When Trenz can attack downhill, he uses two foot finishes at the basket to stay on balance and remain efficient. Moeller is stacked in the 2028 and 2029 classes and the Trenz brothers are a big part of that depth.

stood out during both June with Moeller and July with Midwest Basketball Club. A skilled forward out of the post, Trenz has soft hands, a strong frame and the touch around the basket to score at the rim. Moeller has their youngest team in a long time coming into next season and Trenz has an opportunity to establish himself as a key piece for years to come.

Moeller has a ton of young talent that’s just starting to scratch the surface of their talents and Trenz had some really bright flashes. A smooth mover for his size, Trenz showed the ability to get up and down the court, knock down perimeter shots and rebound the basketball. Defensively, Trentz used his length to protect the rim and defended well in space. Expect to hear a lot about Trenz over the next three seasons.

Another GMC forward who appeared in every varsity contest as a freshman, Trenz showed flashes in their season opening game Vs Little Miami and ended up averaging both 3.3 points and rebounds a night. Trenz also flashed some 3-point shooting ability with eight made 3-pointers as a freshman. With his size and early production, Trenz is a prospect I’ll be keeping tabs on this summer as he plays for Midwest Basketball Club on the 3SSB circuit.
