has proven in every game this spring why he is deserving of the ranking. The strong frame wing put on a scoring clinic scoring from all over the floor. When on a spurt in the loss to Evansville Bosse where he scored 11 straight points. Was able to get all the way to the rim for tough bucket drawing a foul. Knocked down two 3’s, one off a flare screen and one was the next possession off the bounce in transition. Not only a talented scorer, but a willing passer that looks to make the right play.

of Austin could possibly be the top overall prospect at the University of Evansville Team Camp. The 6’5” Guard is as versatile of a scorer that I have seen in four years of scouting high school basketball. Mature frame that plays well through contact. He’s a high level shooter off the catch and off the dribble. Doesn’t settle for his three-point shot. He’s patient and takes the opening the defense gives him. Willing passer with good vision that’s capable of initiating offense and does a good job creating shots for others. Received his first Division I offer from Western Kentucky on June 15th.

The Prep Hoops Indiana #1 2029 player continues to impress this spring. Elite scorer that does it in a variety of different ways. Got going from three in his team’s win over Christian Academy of Louisville, and then from there he did a good job taking what the defense gave him. As talented of a scorer that he is, he’s a very unselfish player that has great court vision. He’s a willing passer and after that, he never stands. He’s a good cutter off the ball and uses his body well to create space and finish plays on cuts.

of Austin High School and he showed why he is deserving of that ranking. Elite scorer at this stage with good size and feel on the offensive end. Had the perimeter jumper going in a big way yesterday knocking down a handful of 3’s just in the first half. Able to rise up over defenders with his size. He elevates well in his jumper. He stays on balance with drives and is able to play through contact. Special 2029 prospect that will continue to put up big numbers.

Midwest Basketball Club 3SSB 15 U had a handful of new names for me to watch locally but it was Mohler from Indiana who stole the show. A dominant interior presence, Mohler plays with such aggressive force when he catches the ball 15 feet and in as he’s looking to get to the rim to score. Mohler was efficient all weekend and was putting up double-double performances thanks to his motor and strength on the glass. Expect to hear a lot about Mohler over the next few years as scouts and college programs familiarize themselves with the class of 2029.

Mohler continues to make a strong case for himself at the top of the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2029 prospect rankings. The 6’4″ guard was excellent all weekend long for Midwest Basketball Club 15u. He finished with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 assists in the game we watched on Saturday. His combination of size, strength, and skill level is rare to find in a player his age.

Another freshman that led his team to a Sectional championship on Saturday night, Mohler put up 32 points in a 53-51 win over Southwestern (Hanover). Austin will face Forest Park at Charlestown High School in the Regional. Mohler is likely going to be a Top 5 freshman when we release our first Class of 2029 prospect rankings.

We have heard Mohler’s name for quite some time prior to him entering his freshman season at Austin. Then, we got a chance to see him very early on this season where he very much lived up to the hype. He has continued to improve and get used to the varsity level throughout the season. Mohler is without a doubt one of the top Class of 2029 prospects in the state. The 6’4″ versatile guard had 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals in a 76-58 loss to Charlestown.

Mohler is a highly anticipated prospect in southern Indiana. The fans at Austin High School have anxiously awaited his arrival and now the 6’4″ guard is set to be one of the top producers among freshmen in the state. His versatility and size in the backcourt really stand out as he can physically dominate many of his peers. Mohler’s body control and footwork are very advanced for his size and age. Look for him to put up some monster numbers for Austin High School this winter.
