In his first two fall ball events with his new squad, Hughes (formerly of Cheltenham) has looked solid. Now that this dynamic perimeter prospect has gelled with his new teammates, a breakout weekend is a definite possibility. Hughes is a big guard with a scorer's mentality. He destroys opponents off the dribble because he can attack the rack going left or right and then finish strong with either hand. His tight handles are unique for a 6'7” player. Additionally, Hughes can produce points in the mid-range via pull-ups and floaters. Hughes owns the length, speed, agility, and hops to be a significant threat in the open court too

Mita is a high IQ stretch-4 prospect with a well-rounded skill set. If opponents play him straight up, Mita will torch them with mid-range jumpers, threes, dives to the rim and quick post ups. If opponents elect to double team him, Mita will work as point forward and deliver timely dimes to open teammates. When needed, he can also shoot over those double teams. Mita's smooth footwork and bag of interior moves enable him to score in the paint with ease. His length, solid frame, and positioning skills make Mita a plus rebounder at both ends.

This week coaches from Notre Dame were at Archbishop Wood's practice to check-in on Jenkins. When you watch this athletic small forward with a 7-foot wingspan play it is easy to see why DI programs are interested in him. Thanks to his size and two-way skills, Jenkins can take over a game on the interior at both ends of the court. On offense Jenkins can finish from the dunker spot or score on quick post ups. His face-up jumper is a developing weapon too. He is also fast enough to score on the secondary break. Jenkins is an impactful offensive rebounder too. Defensively he controls the glass and is a shot blocking machine.

Simply stated, Lesovitz is a shot maker who will hit from anywhere on the court. He can drain jumpers from the baseline to the mind-range to beyond the arc. Lesovitz can also knock down runners off the glass as well as floaters. His ability to convert on difficult field goal attempts is impressive. Lesovitz's off the bounce scoring skills are an underrated asset. He can get out on the fast break for lay-ins through contact too. With his size, sneaky athleticism, and nose for the ball, Lesovitz is a plus rebounder.
