Chicago has some incredibly talented point guards in the 2027 class with three prospects in the top 50 of our national rankings. Davis won Mr Basketball in Illinois as a sophomore, an incredible achievement and a testament to how productive he is and how much he impacts winning. Davis checks boxes that college programs look for in a point guard, he's tough, makes shots from the outside and sets the table for his teammates. One of the most productive guards in the country, I expect Davis to find himself in the top 50 in another national ranking sooner rather than later.

Pur has been a stock riser nationally and on Prep Hoops North Carolina with his continued development. Rare to see a prospect combine the rim protection and ball skills that Pur does at his size. I usually scoff at the term point forward at the high school level but Pur has legit creation ability on the ball and should be expected to run some actions as the primary decision maker at the college level. Pur is also on a sharp upward trajectory and still hasn't turned 17 years old. Cincinnati was the first high major to offer Pur while Maryland, Penn State, Tennessee, South Carolina and Mississippi State have followed.

Wise is an elite scorer of the basketball as a wing guard, shooting the cover off the basketball and providing floor spacing without the ball in his hands. Also causing havoc defensively, Wise was among the EYBL 16 U leaders in steals per game. Those two skills make me high on his current production and long term potential because if you can efficiently score the basketball and force turnovers, you should provide positive value on both ends of the court and earn playing time sooner rather than later. A two time state champion and the number 1 prospect in Prep Hoops Georgia 2027 rankings, Wise holds offers to Cincinnati, Villanova, Clemson, Virginia Tech and more already.

Good positional size, efficient, knockdown shooter with the ability to play above the rim, Robinson is a prospect who is productive right now and shows long term potential. The second most efficient 16 U scorer on the EYBL circuit according to synergy, Robinson was scoring 15.3 PPG on 1.15 PPP. Recent offers from Oregon, San Diego State, UNLV, Cal, Stanford and more, Robinson has become a priority for west coast programs. Expect Robinson to find himself popping up on more and more national rankings lists sooner rather than later, as of now Rivals/ON3 and Prep Hoops are the only ones with him ranked.

A talented two-way wing, few players can match Newson's athleticism and defensive impact. A terror in transition, Newson can fly through the air and finish above the rim with power as an explosive one foot jumper. Continuing to develop as an offensive player in the half-court, Newson has all the skills to become a consensus top 100 prospect when it's all said and done. Arizona State, Virginia Tech, Penn State, St Joes and La Salle have all already offered Newson.

I was really impressed with Lundy when I saw him with New Heights on the 3SSB circuit this summer. A quick and crafty guard scorer who could play both on and off the ball, Lundy helped his New Heights 16 U team to the Palmetto Road Championship where they fell just short Vs Team Lillard. So far Rhode Island, La Salle, Temple, Towson, St Joe's and more have already offered Lundy. With so many elite mid major programs recruiting him early, I expect Lundy to either be an instant impact player at a program like that or start to earn high major offers next summer. Either way, Lundy will have a chance to make a difference at whatever level of program he commits to.
