Yalamanchili, a stretch forward at Worcester Academy, made a name for himself this summer at NERR’s Frosh/Soph Elite 75. He makes an impact on the game on both ends of the floor with his effort and intelligence. Yalamanchili provides some serious scoring punch from the perimeter and proved this summer to be capable of making tough shots off the catch from behind the arc. He’s a good cutter that can finish with either hand at the rim and even showed the ability to make plays for others off the bounce. Defensively, he has some versatility and utilizes his length to guard both on the perimeter and in the paint. He should be able to carve out a role this winter at Worcester Academy and profiles as the type of prospect that will only continue to improve with more experience and added strength.
