Expert Analysis

Hemme was outstanding for Timnath, and his production of 15.7 points, 3 assists and 3.8 rebounds reflects the growth he showed throughout his senior season. As the year progressed his confidence and impact continued to rise, becoming a key piece in his team’s run to the Final Four. He found ways to score, create for others and make winning plays when it mattered most. His steady improvement and ability to elevate his team deep into the postseason are big reasons why his stock climbed late. He also embraced leadership, setting the tone with his effort and consistency while delivering in high pressure situations when his team needed him most

Hemme was one of the players who really stood out in the Sweet 16. When you watch him play, the first thing that jumps out is how much control he has over the game. He dictates the pace, reads what the defense is giving him, and makes the right decision time and time again. As the team’s true point guard, he’s the primary playmaker, but he can also flip the switch and score in a hurry as a microwave scorer. Now with the Great 8 stage here, it’s another opportunity for more eyes to be on him. Expect him to step up and deliver as he looks to finish his career with a state title.

Jack Hemme Jack Hemme 6'2" | CG Timnath | 2026 State CO is the team’s best player and a big reason for Timnath looking like they can bring it all home, and a big start to the playoff push will get them over the top. He’s averaging 16.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.1 steals a game as the team’s primary scorer, and teams will gameplan to take him out of games. He’s been more aggressive as of late as he’s a three-level scorer who is playing assertively, and he just started getting to the FT line more as well. He uses his size, spaces the floor, and is a microwave scorer. I am expecting a big finish for him as Timnath keeps pushing through on their playoff run.

Hemme is a player who has Timnath looking like one of the top teams in 5A/4A Longs Peak League. They’re sitting at 12-0 on the season and running through their conference. The 6’3 combo guard has Timnath humming right now with his play, and that’s why he made such a huge leap in the rankings. He’s putting up 17.6 points a game as a player who gets to his spots. He attacks, has a lethal mid-range game, and occasionally steps out and opens up the floor. He sees the floor well, can play both on and off the ball, and has also been playing excellent defense. This team will go as he goes, and he appears to be in a groove right now.

Hemme had a big summer of growth and a huge reason he’s expected to be a major piece for Timnath this season. He impacts the game everywhere from scoring, defending, pushing the pace and keeping the ball moving with sharp passes and strong vision. He can shoot it when he’s in rhythm, finish in transition and make the right read when defenses collapse. On the defensive end he brings energy and versatility, sliding his feet, contesting shots and jumping into passing lanes. Hemme just has that “do everything” feel to his game, the type of player who fills gaps and elevates everyone around him. With his confidence rising and his skill set rounding out, Hemme is ready for a big year

Hemme was a first-team all-conference selection and a true spark plug for Timnath as a junior. He averaged 12.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists, and found a scoring groove late in the season. Hemme appears to be a confident shooter who can knock down the three but also gets downhill and attacks. He rebounds well for his size and has the tools to become a more complete playmaker this upcoming season. With more weapons around him this year, expect his game to open up and him to turn heads along the way as he did. He jumps into the rankings this go round.

Hemme has really been coming into his own this season, and it’s been awesome to watch. He’s playing with a ton of confidence, the ability to read defenses and score almost at will is something special. Whether it’s pulling up for a jumper or driving into the lane, he just seems to make the right decision. He’s setting the pace, keeping the offense flowing, and constantly creating easy looks for his teammates. Hemme sees the floor so well, finding a cutter at the perfect moment or drawing the defense in and kicking it out to an open shooter, he’s always a step ahead. His jumper has been smooth, and he’s been knocking down shots from deep with confidence. Defenders can’t sag off because he’ll make them pay, and that spacing opens everything up for his team. He’s really starting to look like the full package

Hemme brings a ton of energy on the court with his dominant presence just inside the three point line. He can hit the three when needed, but his game is at its best when he’s hitting mid-range shots or attacking the rim. He really thrives in the inside out game and if you leave him open, he’ll drain the jumper. But what really stands out is his passing in those situations. He’s got great vision and is always looking to find the open shooter from deep

Hemme works to stabilize this group, setting up the halfcourt and fullcourt opportunities the vast majority of the time. As well a physical finisher around the rim, he is not fazed by opposing contests or the potential of a hard foul. He can stretch out his rang effectively to the mid-range, effective off the catch if given space. His strength makes him a potent point of attack defender within this league.
