About Kristian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a defense first, two way player that can guard every position.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a fierce competitor. I'm going to player my heart out on both ends of the floor.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm in a few mentorship programs where I was awarded certificates of completion.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed many skills and qualities. I learn a lot from helping my father with our family’s nonprofit organization, Forward Thinking Foundation. Where I've performed community service, been in leadership roles, and had to work in settings where teamwork was required. My parents instilled morals in me like, respect, honesty, compassion and integrity.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I lived with my mom in Atlanta up until 7th grade. My dad suggested I was at the age that it was time to move back to Minnesota and live with him. Although I loved the idea because my dad and I have a great relationship, I was not okay with leaving my mom in Atlanta by herself. I ended up following my Dad's guidance and I am glad I did. It has been the best decision for me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm open to different options. I just want to be somewhere that I can excel academically and athletically.
